Vermont Anniversary Photography {Lauren + James}

This was my last session in Vermont last weekend before flying back to Colorado and what a great way to go out!! We had a gorgeous (although chilly) waterfront sunset! I used to work with Lauren + James in Burlington, Vermont back in the day. When they signed up for my Vermont photo session I was more than thrilled!! These two are not only adorable but really, really great in front of the camera! This was such a fun session! Happy 1 year anniversary to these little love birds :)

Boulder Colorado Engagement {Sheila + Doug}

Top 5 reasons I LOVE Sheila + Doug...

1. They are having a destination wedding ... in Colorado (my favorite place!!)
2. Sheila wears cowboy boots (i LOVE cowboy boots!!!)
3. Sheila + Doug were willing to try anything during this session (ie. climb down a slippery ravine to get a cool shot)
4. Doug dipped Sheila for the first time during our session... on a bridge... and it was awesome!
5. They are truly in love and genuinely best friends. 

I can not WAIT for this wedding next May at the St. Julien Hotel & Spa in downtown Boulder! Congrats Sheila + Doug!

Rocky Mountain Colorado Wedding {Kate + Garrett}

Kate + Garrett had me at hello. Garrett is really into photography and Kate is really into movies. They themed their wedding around the cinema with popcorn bucket centerpieces filled with candy!! (Garrett actually popped the question one night while they were watching a movie, he pulled the ring out from the popcorn bucket they were snacking on.) I really, really enjoy working with this couple and look forward to photographing them in the future!

Ranch Country Club {Laura + Nick's Wedding}

3. They did a first look!! (I highly encourage this!)

4. Laura wore adorable orange flats by Rocket Dog (Ironically, I was wearing the same pair in black. What are the odds of that!??)

5. They had a photobooth!! ... and Laura got in with me!! (anyone that knows me well, knows that I'm obsessed with photobooths!)

Boulder Engagement Session {Andrea + Jake}

One word to describe Andrea + Jake: super sweet (ok, that's two words but I couldn't help it!). They are just that. SUPER. SWEET! Steamboat Springs Ski Resort {Hadley & Stacey's Wedding}

If I could use only one word to describe Stacey and Hadley it would be "complementary". They are perfectly suited for each other. And their ceremony at the top of the gondola at Steamboat Springs Resort was perfectly suited for them, too! The view and sunset were unbelievable.... Take a look at their Slideshow!

Marriot Park Meadows Wedding {Johanna & Joe}

Johanna & Joe were married on Saturday at the Marriot Park Meadows south of Denver on a gorgeous sunny day! Johanna looked stunning in her dress she drove all the way to Nebraska for! Her Jimmy Choo's added a touch of sparkle to her look. Joe's daughter Holly was their flower girl and WOW was she cute as ever!! Johanna & Joe left Saturday night for their honeymoon cruise! Hope they're relaxing right now and enjoying every second on being newlyweds!!

Della Terra Mountain Chateau {Debbie & Matt's Destination Wedding}

Debbie & Matt have lived all over the world. They decided to get married in Estes Park,  Colorado, where Debbie's family has been vacationing for many years. They were only able to come to Colorado a few days before their wedding this past Monday (yes, a Monday wedding ... LOVE it!!). We captured Debbie & Matt's engagement session in Boulder on Thursday and a few short days later captured them saying "I do!!". They had a gorgeous outdoor ceremony followed by a SUPER FUN reception at Della Terra Mountain Chateau in Estes Park. If you haven't seen this place, be sure to check it out! I can't begin to tell you how amazing this place is... the rooms are phenomenal (I could move into just one of their huge bathrooms!), the views are stunning and the staff is exceptional! Everything about this wedding was gorgeous... the flowers were perfectly arranged by Kim and Company, the food was deliciously prepared by Jubilations Catering and Top Hat Entertainment cranked out killer tunes! I really wish Debbie & Matt lived closer... guess I'll just have to visit them in Ohio for now. Congrats you two!!

Cielo Castle Pines Wedding {Chad & Carly}

I have been super excited for Chad & Carly's wedding since we captured their engagement session at Red Rocks back in March! These two lovebirds had a sunny outdoor ceremony at Cielo Castle Pines on Saturday. With their delicious food catered by Gourmet Fine Catering, beautiful flower arrangements, a gorgeous cake and really fun music provided by Jake the DJ, the night was absolutely perfect! Congrats Mr. & Mrs. Tongren! :)
